  • Problems with 64 cores, 4 x Opteron 6272

    Hello, i have built recently a new rendering computer, i have mount 4 x opteron 6272, motherboard Tyan S8812 and 64 gb of ram. The problem is that rendering is very slow, im looking for in google but i dont find any solutions. somebody has the same problem?

        For the moment, the best we can do for you is to get you a build of V-Ray that can run multiple DR spawners on the different NUMA nodes of the same machine when you render still images. When rendering animations, I think Deadline or similar render managers (but not Backburner) can handle this by rendering several frames on the machine at the same time.

            Can you try disabling NUMA in ur bios -see if that helps?
