      That looks amazing. Would have expected it to cost more too, given what other high end workstation laptops are. between $1.7k and $2k too... comparable MBP's are 2.7k

                    i wouldn't be surprised if they burn out quite a bit. I mean those things get pretty blazing hot. You gotta keep them in the freezer if you wish to sustain their life.

                      Windows 8 scales great. We've got it running on a 4k tv in the meeting room and it's super easy to make it readable from the back.

                        Sure windows will scale, but none of your applications will. Even if they did they would be pixelated. Big blurry pixels. But typically it's just annoyingly tiny icons. Most applications aren't ready for resolutions over 1920x1080. I guess the hardware manufacturers will just keep pushing them and the software will catch up at some point.

                        At least this was my experience with Windows 7 & running applications on a RMBP.
