    I'm not sure if this has been addressed along with another refractive issue
    ( http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...951#post666951 )

    But having some difficulty eradicating intensely dark areas an an animation here. (ultimately to be illustrating coolant flow)

    Things work out fine on CPU, but it's looking prohihitively slow compared of course to GPU. The image should hopefully illustrate the issue:

    is this a known problem ?

    What are you trace and GI depths for the GPU?
