Actually, with the nightlies being so close to standard cpu rendering I'm having an entirely different problem here. GPU RT is too fast.

Previously a 2 hr render is now taking around 15 mins. The upshot of this is that by the time I've finished doing post on a lot of work, the next image is ready from the farm. You might think this is a good thing, but now I'm having serious problems justifying coffee breaks. And god only knows we need coffee.

I have fixed that, too. Again it will be soon in the nightlies, possibly in the official 3.30.01, too.

With these fixes the scenes was rendering fine, I think.

For the noise - it is not baked. We do calculate it in a procedural way (just as in the production).
Procedural maps will not work for bump yet. It is possible to implement it, but we still haven't done it.
Its a pitty, I use procedural maps as bump maps a lot. Sometimes its much faster then look or make a bitmap.

@ricoholmes - Thanks, good to hear that.

@Jiri.Matys - Sorry, I know it is important, but it is not finished. We'll do our best to have it for the next one.
