  • Is anyone actually running Windows 10?

    I've got everything running smoothly on Win7 Pro. Every time I reboot, I get a Win 10 nag screen. Any issues with max/vray 3.3?

    Thanks.

      I have been running it since day one without issue, other than some small graphical things, like the taskbar clock is jibberish.

        I've had issues with Windows 10 on my laptop - not related to V-Ray or Max, but things like that one update that caused it to continuously reboot over and over again, or that other time that my sound disappeared completely until I uninstalled and reinstalled the sound drivers, or the issue that after a few successful connections to the company VPN, it would simply refuse to connect anymore until I reboot, or most recently, that after a while it just wouldn't to connect to the hotel WiFi until I reboot it (whereas my phone and iPad had no problems at all).

        I think it needs a few more patches before it becomes as smooth as Windows 8.1 was.

        Best regards,
        Vlado

          Thanks for the replies. Tempting as it is, I think I'll wait until the first service pack. Things are running smoothly now (knock on wood).

            Even though I did upgrade, I see absolutely no reason why someone should. I guess if you have a Windows 10 hybrid machine it might make sense.

              @vlado

              I just bought new workstation with Windows 10. I also have small render farm (approx. 10 servers) with Windows 7.
              I am working with both DR or BB. Will this setup work OK? (workstation with Win10 + render slaves with Win7)
