  • Vray Sun include/exclude

I have an interior scene were my sun light is being blocked by the back drop planes. Include/exclude does not seem to work with the sun light in SP3. The weird part is that with Vray Adv. I did not have to exclude the back planes, the sun just comes through.

any workarounds? Include/exclude only worked with RT CPU.

I can see the sunlight come in, in the LC calc but not the render.

    Thanks!

    **EDIT**
After a few more test I don't think it's the include/exclude. so I'm not sure why my sunlight is not coming through my windows.

It appears the skylight portal was the problem. It needs to bet set to invisible prior to bet set as a skylight portal since the option is greyed out once set to skylight portal.

That is the workaround for the moment until we port the fix to the stable nightly builds (if you have access to them) or the next SP release.
