I don't use SLI anymore, it's really useless now (for gaming) and apparently 3dsmax don't use SLI too... (not tested, but GeForce profile say no).
A little note, for people want mix Quadro + GeForce :
You can use GeForce driver or Quadro driver. It's exactly the same.
The unique difference if it's you use QUADRO driver you need to install PhysX and GeForce Experience separately.
If you install your graphic cards with GeForce driver, you have PhysX + GeForce Experience, but, for this both drivers, you have Quadro panel (with by default application profile instead of game profile).
When you add one Quadro with GeForce card you need to reinstall drivers (proper install it's better, remove old setting...Etc.).
V-Ray RT recognized Quadro & geforce cards without issues.
If you add Quadro + GeForce, Photoshop prefer use Quadro (it's the same for Illustrator).
I have worked with this setting more than one year.
