Hello all,
I'm asking here because it feels like it's the best place to get an answer so sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I just got an EVGA FTW GTX 1080 yesterday and I'm trying to run it in unison with my K5000 Quadro. I want to keep the K5K for display and the 1080 for rendering. Currently I'm facing the following issues:
1. Upon starting my PC, it seems to be defaulting to the 1080 as my main display output. Plugging my monitor(s) in to the K5K gives me a blank screen but switching it to the 1080 gives me a display.
2. If I install the drivers for both cards, I always have one card that gets stopped in the device manager and Vray RT does not see the GPU that has been stopped. However, in GPU-Z both cards appear.
I was always told you should always get rid of the old gfx drivers before installing a new card so how do I install two sets of drivers for two different cards without conflict?
The machine I'm using has a Supermicro X9DAi mobo with 2x Xeon 2680 v2's and 64gb of ram.
Thanks
