  • HDR displays

As far as I'm aware there are currently no monitors available yet, but interested to know if anyone has experienced a display that supports any of the upcoming HDR standards: for example, viewed a 16 or 32bit exr on an "HDR ready" TV.

Apparently any GTX960 and upwards supports HDR output over HDMI, so you'd need a GPU of the last two generations at the very least.

EDIT: I did come across this http://www.provideocoalition.com/new...ay-from-canon/

I'm keen on one, but no doubt they will not be affordable until some no name Korean brand starts selling A- panels on ebay. Will HDMI be enough? I suppose the video card you mention does support HDMI 2.0 and likely anyone on this forum has at least a 970 or better card for max already.

That monitor you link however, 24 inch? Geezus that is just way too small.

Yeah it's for portable use as an on-set monitor unfortunately.
