  • Pcie 4x splitter

Anyone try one of these pcie 4x to 16x splitters?

I'm curious if running one gpu in the MB at 8 or 16x and a splitter in the other slot, for 5 gpus total would work well for rt, either active shade or production cuda mode. Tia.

Also, anyone know the MB or CPU requirements for this setup?

I've done a few tests in the past with one PCI to PCI-E Card Adapter >> http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...mance-Question

Don't have a Pcie 4x splitter right now to test with, but I think should be OK. You may need a powerful power supply for this upgrade btw.
