Overlclocked 7700k for Simulation / Rendering

Has anyone tested an i7-7700k for rendering / simulation purposes?

We're thinking about buying one as Phoenix simulation machine / extra render node.
They'll hit 5Ghz easily and they're pretty reasonable in price even with 32GB DDR4 @ 3200.

Thanks. We'd already had a look at the benchmark test but that doesn't cover off simulation capabilities or over locking.
Might have to invest soon and take a look!
