Can OptiX 5 denoiser be used as standalone V-RayDenoiser?

Implementing it as a VFB post-effect plug-in may be useful for GPU and GPU.

Technically yes. But you can also write your own tool very easily using the OptiX SDK.

Yes, it's an option. I haven't figured out if we want to do this yet. It might be a problem if you render on a farm and there is no NVidia GPU on some nodes.

Amazing, it also preserves details very well.

It would be great if this could be run from cmd like vray denoiser, although i presume it's different approach than vray denoiser and i am not sure what it requires during denoising process, or if it would be even possible denoising when image is fully rendered, i sure hope so.

          Good work!

We'll see, first we will need some users to actually test it to explore the boundaries of what is possible...

looks great! Would frameblending be needed in animation to avoid flicker?

Is this implemented in the 4.0 beta?

                  So great...

No, OptiX wasn't released officially in time for the beta. Maybe for the next one...

Wow! Awesome! I hope this denoiser won't delete the small details =)) Because I don't like what we have now in Vray 3.6, Corona and etc =))
