CG – 3D Artist
Paradigm Color Studio Chicago is looking for a talented CG/3D Artist to join our ranks in both freelance and full-time capacities. Our ideal candidate would be someone who can take a project from start to finish within the designated deadline. Our goal is to find an artist who can primarily create high resolution renders for still and print work.
Paradigm Color Studio Chicago is looking for a talented CGI Artist to join the team at mid to senior level. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating the very best photorealistic imagery, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to take images from concept stage right through to rendering and some post-production.
The role is within our production team, so a passion for product visualization, environment creation, and photography are a must. Our clients include advertising agencies, independent photographers and companies. The work ranges from pharmaceuticals to interiors and furniture, cosmetics, food, beverage, and fashion.
We are looking for someone who has the drive and personality to integrate into our studio team, and will be proactively involved in the ongoing development of our workflow, as well as mentoring and developing more junior members of the team.
You’ll be working with the best equipment in a creative environment with a team of like-minded people. We encourage ongoing professional development and will proactively support continued professional development around the needs of the successful candidate.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Modeling of assets, texturing, shading and lighting of interior, environmental, and character to the highest possible level of detail and realism
- Ability to asses and critique your own work to exacting standards as well as the drive to continually develop your knowledge and skills, pushing forwards your own creative and technical development
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, time management and problem solving in the face of challenging situations and deadlines
- Ability to work alone or collaboratively, having the skills to mentor junior members of the team and develop talent within the business
Key technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Modo, 3DS Max, and V-Ray
- Exellent Photoshop abilities
- Knowledge of ZBrush is preferable but not essential
