After an excellent year delivering a number of high profile projects, Realm Communications, one of the UK?s leading visualisation and branding consultancies, is looking to continue its expansion and recruit a Visualisation & Digital Director to help take the business forward in its next phase of growth. This will be a dynamic and key role within the business working alongside and reporting to the business owner (MD) and senior visualisation team to help maintain and develop the existing areas of our business but also to help build on the new sectors that we have targeted and now increasingly find ourselves working within.
Our hard-fought reputation in the industry has been developed over a number of years with a broad range of clients and a strong studio team. You will probably already be working at a senior level in the industry, possibly in a large practice, and are now looking to take a key lead in helping to take a growing business forward, with all the opportunities that entails. A deep-seated technical skill set is a prerequisite and you will need to be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge across the following:
You must have good people skills and be able to encourage, enthuse, develop and get the best out of a committed studio team. Working closely with the client service team to plan and deliver projects you will also be encouraged to work with the partners to continue to expand our reach into a range of new sectors including retail, transport, infrastructure, product and automotive.
As Visualisation & Digital Director in an independently owned small practice, you will also be expected to have a good working knowledge of IT relating to the various software packages we use and you will, in part, be responsible for managing the relationship with our retained network solutions specialist to ensure the smooth running of our IT.

- High level experience in verified view production relating to architectural visualisation.
- Advanced skills in 3ds Max, with Vray renderer, in the field of architecture.
- Accurate camera matching experience.
- Forest Pro, and RailClone knowledge.
- Animation experience crucial and VR experience preferable (After Effects and/or Nuke experience required).
- Advanced Photoshop skills for producing verified and marketing images.
- Ability to use AutoCAD/Revit for CAD and model cleaning/processing.
- Deadline render manager experience would be an advantage.
- Work planning, resource management and marketing portfolio development with our Senior Visualiser.
- An understanding of IT relating to the software would be advantageous.
