Hi,

I'm just getting to grips with cloud rendering through Deadline10, but I can't seem to get the vrayspawner to work.

I'm using one of the preconfigured Thinkbox AMI's that has 3dsmaxIO, so not sure if DR will work on that, or if I should just install a normal version of 3dsmax.

I've had a look in the logs and it says it can't find the 3dsmax.exe - so I tried creating a vrayspawner.ini to point it to the 3dsmaxio.exe but it just keeps trying to open the vraydummy file and restarts.

Any ideas?

Do the AMIs backburner installed in them? Normally, V-Ray will search for 3dsmax.exe, vrayspawner.ini is an old leftover and won't work in that case.
Can you tell me which V-Ray version is on the AMI?
Does DR work if you just rename 3dsmaxio.exe to 3dsmax.exe?
