All DRR4 is 2133 and will run this way out of the box. DO NOT use XMP profiles with AMD. It is very frustrating. It took me 2 days to figure this out before I could get the Ryzen stable at 4+ ghz. For whatever reason, the actual timings that work at OC are different than the XMP profile or what is printed on the sticks.

Check out this guy's tool: https://www.overclock.net/forum/13-a...-dram-am4.html
Then it's just a matter of tweaking cpu voltage and clock speed until you get the max vray bench.

Sorry for taking that long to get back to you. The board I worked on had the same fans issue, I did a windows reset and everything worked nicely then
It is 100% software.. I would recommend not touching any oc settings or fan controls inside windows. You better do this from bios
Also you should install AIsuite and all its components if you haven't already.
Let me know if you need help!

Well, not sure what to say. I am really kind of new in the world of OC, so that's why i used the profile.
I've checked all the timings and voltages for RAM and they looked exactly how they are shown on the manufacturers website. And that is the only thing what XMP did change.
Thanks for the tool, that looks quite cool - but to be honest - for now, I have totally no idea how to use that !!

Thanks for getting back and no worries at all! Thanks for the info. I will try to delete all the software related to OC and CPU control and will check everything again.
Yes, I have AI Suite and all components installed, the only thing i've changed there is fan speed graph.
Let me check everything again, will run all the tests in different situations and will come back with more info.
        Thanks !

Ok, so i've resolved all my issues by changing my cooling system.
What i had was Enermax TR4 360. And the first batch had a lot of problems, and the worst was that liquid with time became same kind of jello. You can see it here: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic...-tempsproblem/
So, yesterday I woke up with CPU speed 0.5 and temperature about 70. And found out that pump is not working at all. Tried to change connectors and ets, and then i stumbled on that forum.
Immediately I ordered another cooling system (deepcool Castle 240RGB TR4), and you know what? CPU OCed at 3.7 GHZ and has 58C when rendering. RAM OC'ed to 3200. Unbelievable, my Enermax with 3 coolers did not give such temperature in the beginning, and it did cost me about $40 more... And cooler spinning rates are stable on this one.
I've seen there is second generation of Enermax TR4, but I lost my confidence in those guys...

Yup, Enermax messed up big time with their first generation coolers unfortunately. Every single one of them died on me during the last 30 to 40 days
I replaced like 15 of these so far, and like you did I will not give them a second chance.
They are still the only ones who cover the entire socket, and out of box their performance has been really good, but it seems like something was wrong with their pump.
Many people even refused to do liquid cooling for their builds, which is fine. But usually an AIO should last over 3 years, not 6 or 7 months

              Holy shit, man
The corrosion though in the link you shared, this is crazy
I've never seen something like this before. No idea how Enermax would fail in this
It is common thing that they make sure theeir coolant and the metals of different parts, can avoid corrosion.

Well, I am not sure what I could find inside my cooling system, but definitely it will look something like this, as symptoms are 100% accurate. And now it is not pumping liquid at all, meaning that it is not liquid now, lol.
And funny thing they did not react at all. They made second version, and added RGB leds, and no word about re-counstructed pump, or any changes in liquid!
I am really more than happy with my DeepCool Castle 240RGB, it rarely goes up to 60C on heavy rendering.
Cheers for all of your help, though, who could've known that the reason of all the mess was new $170 liquid cooling system ?!
