  • Biped IK link

Is anyone familiar with Biped? I'm quite new to it but gradually learning.

I have an issue where I'm linking the hand to a helper so that it follows the motion of the helper but it doesn't seem to work if the helper is linked to another object that controls its motion. So basically the helper is the child of the biped head and the hand needs to follow the helper.

Biped's old and weird which doesn't help you right now but you could bake the helper driving the arm with martin breidt's mbCollapse from http://scripts.breidt.net/

Thanks for the tip. I tried baking the animation but it still didn't link. It's odd. If I delete the keyframes from the head bone (which the hand is ik'd to) I can then move the head and the hand will follow. If I then try to keyframe the head the hand stops following it. Very odd.

Would you recommend CAT or another rigging tool as oppose to BIPED ?
