Guidance for Wordpress Interior Room Flooring Configurator - Ideas ?

My client (a commercial flooring manufacturer) wants a webpage where his web visitors can swap the floor finishes from hundreds of carpet styles.

Does anyone have any experience of how to go about this ?

I mean, I'm guessing this would be a case of creating an Interiors 3d render of the entire room and then providing png images of just the flooring.

But what plugin would do this inside Wordpress ? I haven't found anything.

They'll probably have to hire a web developer for that. I did one many moons ago with a simple rollover menu.

Thanks Morne, I've seen that Woocommerce one but wasn't convinced it would do what I want as that's more driven towards products. I'll take a closer look.

Bobby can you remember if that was for Wordpress ?

No, I don't think so. I think it was just HTML with some java scripts. I am talking 20 years ago.

JezUK the company who created or do create the images for Wren kitchens are https://www.pikcells.com

Might be worth firing an email asking a few questions. I think they are Corona now although they may still be on the forum. They do use Web Developers in-house so would imaging that's how they do theirs

Basically, you should dig in to the direction of interactive panoramas.
Basically, this is a whole bunch of panoramas rendered and being changed once you click. There may be some tiling involved (when you are changing an option - it reloads only the tiles associated with that option).
