  • Non US, EU and UK guys, how do you get paid from clients that are from US, EU or UK?

    Hi guys

With Paypal not being an option, I'm interest HOW you get paid from foreign clients. This question is SPECIFIC to people that are NOT in US, EU or UK, but your clients are from there.

    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Why isn’t PayPal an option? 95% of everything I get is PayPal. Yes, there is a fee on both ends, but it is very convenient.

You can't get your cash out of Paypal and into your bank account in all countries

I'm still looking into this, but if others are interested, these services also seem promising. I didn't yet read far enough to see if the client also needs an account with these...

              XE
              Transferwise
              Worldremit

can you really not use a bank?
i dont think most of my clients would install or use those potentially scammy services.

Ideally I would just send them an online invoice, which they pay via credit card (or any other card that works with online transactions)
The point is to make it as easy as possible for clients to pay

Look into square www.squareup.com - no account for your client needed, they receive invoice in email with link to pay, and you take a standard %transaction fee cut on the bill. it's really simple and straightforward however i've only ever used it domestically in the states.

Payoneer has quite convenient option to get payed. You just need your client's e-mail, after that they receive a payment request and can pay via different options. Some options have quite high fees. The cheapest option is to be payed via local bank transfers. For USA it is ACH, for UK it is BACS and for Europe it is SEPA transfer. You request global payment service to be opened for your account and add necessary accounts, after that you got your bank account information to send to client.
                        Available for remote work.

Since 911, any wire transfer has been a pain. No longer does a few number work, you need addresses and phone numbers and they literally, physically make phone calls. I was paying a guy with wire transfer all the time, then 911 came and after this person changed something on his account and I was never able to transfer again. Every time he wants me to try a new service, nothing works; they are all wire transfers. This last time was simply a series of account numbers, but they could do nothing with it without a physical address and a phone number. Domestically is pretty easy, but internationally, they locked things down.
