Particle flow position object - vray distancetex and vraydirt

  • Particle flow position object - vray distancetex and vraydirt

    I'm trying to use the above shaders for particle positions (using a standard material instead of vray material - as particle flow does not understand vray material). Can particle flow understand the data from a vraydistancetex or vraydirttex shader ? I can't seem to get any results with either when they are placed inside the diffuse channel. I've also tried a mix and used the shaders and mix controllers between the colours. Nothing seems to work.

    If you're on Next, standard materials no longer work in general and has to be VRay material

      both are calculated at render time I guess so until these are baked PFlow will not read them.
