I have two identical PC's under my desk, one the main machine and one which I switch on to help as a slave renderer.
The main machine has two monitors connected to it, the slave has no monitors connected to it.
I view the 'screen' of the slave machine via Chrome Remote Desktop and that's been fine until I recently noticed that for some applications I cannot see the application dialog contents (see attached).
In that screen grab, the main big white window in the background is Firefox, the smaller white window is the Autodesk Desktop App.
Notice that Google Chrome in the foreground renders fine.
Other applications also have the 'white' dialog box issue.
All my drivers are up to date, Windows is up to date etc etc......
I thought it might be a case of the colour depth being too high and making Chrome Remote Desktop have a lower colour depth might do the trick - the only problem is/was that with my GPU's (all GTX 1080 ti's) I cannot change that setting from 32bit down to anything less.
The ONLY time this problem disappears is if/when I have a monitor also connected into the back of the Slave machine - then there are NO white dialog box issues and everything works fine.
Can someone else please confirm whether they also have the same problem as me or if their Chrome Remote Desktop works fine ?
(PS - I've noticed that this also happens when I try to use Teamviewer, so it looks to me more like an Nvidia issue than a Remote Desktop one)
