Recently I am postprocessing my renderings in Capture One - mostly because of the clarity adjustment but also to make changes in the rendering easier to postprocess again (changing the original file or copying adjustments and its done).
What I have a problem with though is the dynamic range. Even when opening a 32bit file (or 16bit file even) there doesnt seem to be any dynamic range and bringing back highlights leads to clipped and grey colors. It seems to load a 8bit version of the HDR file...
This is obviously a Capture One problem, but I am sure that they wont think a lot about 32bit exr or tif files and brining in real HDR editing.
Capture One is for processing camera RAW files and I was wondering how I could export from Vray to a similar file with a high dynamic range that can be properly processed in C1.
Does anybody have a clue?
