Topaz Gigapixel for animations

Hi, has anyone tried Topaz software to upscale rendered animation sequences? If so how far did they push it etc?

It is very slow, so I can't imagine it working.

Yes used the beta, and it does work! Needs a good/newer type Gfx card, else it defaults to the CPU which is a lot slower. I've been using it for stills for 6 months, with frankly perfect results - I cant see any visual change in 95% of images, and the only change in the 5% is a slight sharpening in places. Only tested on a couple of clips of animation, but it works. Would you rather the 2k render time over a 4k over hundreds of frames, and then wait 2-3 mins a frame to resize. Seems worth it, as long as it works!!
