I cannot launch 3dsmax 2020

I've just installed max 2020 but cannot launch it. It sits on the initialising then the window closes and max does not start. Any ideas ?

I've tried:

1. Updating graphics drivers
2. Deleting user preferences for max 2020.
3. Updating to latest version: update 2.

Oh, and I've also tried repair. Nothing seems to work !

There was a seperate license tool that needed updating for the 2020 product line
Make sure you also installed that

If you are using a vpn max does not start. There is another autodesk software, other than 3dsmax, that needs to allowed through the vpn. I do not know which one, although I would like to.
