Odd email from Chaos re new billing?

I just got a few emails, each saying that th billing amount for Vray had changed. Is this legit? Anyone else getting them?
It appears to be a discount but why I'm unsure, as I've read nothing.

To reflect current exchange rates for USD, EUR, and GBP currencies we have increased end-user prices in EUR and GBP of all our products and services, effective February 1, 2020. There are no changes in our current USD end-user prices.

Currency exchange rates have changed significantly over the past 5 years and while we were able to bear the negative impact until now, current and expected exchange rates have left us with no option but to adjust our prices in EUR and GBP.

All customers with active annual or monthly license(s) paying in EUR or GBP, will be allowed to renew their existing license(s) at the original purchase price until 01 February 2021. After that date, they will be able to renew the license(s) at the updated end-user price.

As part of the technical implementation of this policy, annual and monthly license holders have received an automated mail from our payment provider 2Checkout Avangate BV highlighting the price reduction of their subscription. The communicated reduction is based on the new higher price in effect since February 1, 2020 so it essentially means the customer will be able to keep the current price of their subscription until February 1, 2021. We understand the mail may be worded quite unclearly for which we apologize sincerely.

Although, to be exact, it's not a reduction, it's just not an increase, if anyone renewed before the 1st, as it becomes an increase from 1st Feb 20.
