Yeah, I don't know anything about this area, but if there is a way, they'll find it. Do you think AD will sit back and watch their monopoly fall apart?

The "entertainment" division (Max, Maya etc) is completely dwarfed by the rest of AD's business (architecture, engineering, civil etc). I'm pretty sure Blender is not even on their radar.
