so is this like the hyperthreading on the Intels?......or like actual 2 processors?......I wonder what kind of impact is gonna have for us...

they have dual-core AND something like intel's hyperthreading

They are two processors in one. You can retrofit your socket 940 Opteron boards with these puppies - bringing your machine to a Quad Processing setup. It's something to keep in mind if youre going for a new rig.

hmm...what about if I'm on a socket 939 MB?
