  • 360° VR stuff

Does anyone know how to ensure all or most devices will recognize that an image is a panorama? I had a Gear VR headset when I had a Samsung phone. All I had to do with that was put images in a folder called Oculus or 360 or something. These days I have a Google Pixel phone with a Daydream Viewer. Some of my old images it will correctly view as panoramas and others it doesn't. I've looked into the properties of the files and couldn't find any obvious tags, so I'm perplexed.

    Thanks.

simplest way to cheat is by finding an image that was taken with a 360 cam (it will already have all the relevant meta data in there)
Open it in PS, paste your new pano into this image, save it. It will keep the meta data

Otherwise google "inject 360 meta". There's plenty free scripts that will do it for you
    Kind Regards,
