max 7.5 bugs

just tried it and its very buggy.

the worst bug is that your texture coordinates randomly switch to face-mode in the rendering.

the problem disappeared after deinstalling the viz addon.

the deinstall deleted the 3dsmax exe so you have to reinstall at least SP1 to make it work again.

dont try it at work if you are facing a deadline.

rerender just recently i read around on forums (like cgtalk) and here too that it has issues..oh well..

Yeah, one major bug...doesn't work in a camera view, just in perspective... So yeah your right, mostly I forgot about that... When I did my testing it was all in perspective

also where the heck is the "File Link Manager" to link in CAD drawings?....I can't remember if it was there before I installed max 7.5 but it says it's missing now?

any thoughts??......anyhelp would be appreciate w/ that.

Paul, i believe you had to reload/reapply the default UI to get the file link manager in the menus.
