Just a plug for the SINI software quite. It has almost everything I need and it replaces a dozen scripts and plugins I use. I did the annual subscription, which has paid for itself this first week; it gives you all of their tools. Five stars and a bunch of kudos!

It has copy!paste, copy material to another object, a replacement for populate terrain, relink/repath... I can go on and on. Almost all the scripts I gathered around the web, that I can’t live without are there.Bobby Parker

its ok but overpriced and has some weird license issues where it always says my MAC ID is in use after I reformatted my machine.
i wouldnt touch the scatter and proxy tools cos forest is much better, and nothing even approaching railclone. the archiving is broken and wont catch all file types (external VDBs for one)
the rest of the tools are all available free elsewhere. forensic was useful and will say the CAD import clean up styff is great when working with nasty architect filles, so perhaps its worth it for that.

I would add that thier support team is really great too.
I started using their plugins years back during the beta and I could clearly see that those tools are made by artists to artists, easy to use and fill the gap that max tools is missing .
Forensic /IgNite Sculpt /IgNite Scribe/Jumble are my favorites.

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

I agree with you on the Forest Pack /Railclone .
I can't see myself moving to thier tools for that especially as I work with other studios and FP/RC are the standard now.Last edited by M.Max; 04-09-2020, 07:56 PM.-------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, Forest and Railclone are what I use too, but there are dozens of tools in there that I didn’t know existed until I went for their full suite of plugins.Bobby Parker

they are ok, but I mostly just use forensic. Our London team swears by them but I already had a pretty heavy shared script situation going on with pixamoons tools, I struggle to find things in them that I wasn't already doing with other scripts/plugins.
I wish it would stop crashing my deadline renders when it decides to pop up an error about the render nodes needing to login though.

That and everyday tools, like copying materials around and objects between files. There are pivot placing tools... again, these tools are found around the web, however, most are broken, and then if your ENU crashes, you have to rebuild your menu. SINI Suite has almost everything, but then again, so does the soulburnScripts.

The Simpsons. I don't use it to replace Railcone and Forest, it is for all the other tools they have, I tried it because Populate (rebuild my site meshes) has gotten slow and MAX doesn't like the results. SINI has a mesh rebuilder that works faster and is cleaner. I purchased the annual subscription for that and then found all the other scripts.

it doesnt even have a keyframe baker lol...i looked at it againt to make sure i wasnt over looking anything...zero use for animation. has no mass volume grid tools etc.
would only take a couple hours to remake a toolbar with better tools and this has a rip off subscription model.
Its also has that MAC ID error consistently as well. not a commercial product IMO....Last edited by squintnic; 11-09-2020, 10:12 PM.
