Do you guys charge more for rush jobs? I just had a client reach out to me about a large project that he needs by next week. My protocol is to avoid these because there is a reason why they are rushing and everything was probably rushed. After about an hour of email exchanges, I sent a tentative email quote, which included a 30% rush fee. I am extremely busy, so I don't need more work to do. I don't think they saw my email before the architect (might be the owner) chimed in saying, "this emailing back and forth is costing me time and money, find another render!". I am waiting for them to email me back, wanting me to send a formal quote because they can't find anyone else, at which time I'll say that I am no longer interested
. Anyway, the question is, do you charge rush fees? If so, how much?
