I use a lot of .psd files with adjustment layers for texture maps in my max materials. I have found this to be very easy way to fine tune things like saturation, contrast and other things. Now suddenly photoshop will not save files if they are in a max scene. If I make any change to an adjustment layer and then try to save th e.psd I get an error message that it can't be saved because it's opne in another application.
This is really frustrating. This was a problem back in Max 2016 and it was ultimately fixed in a service pack update.
I posted about this in th e ADESK 3DS Max forum back in 2016 an d have now posted about it there again starting a week ago. So far no response form anyone including ADESK. Sheeesh.
If anyone knows a workaround and/or would be willing to add to my posts at the the frickin AREA:
