I don't really do Christmas, as I'm an areligious type and thoroughly dislike the capitalist feeding frenzy that seeks to profit by it. So, ''..Bah humbug!''

That being said, it's important in many ways for many people - and I also do love people very much, so use it as a great excuse to gather and get outrageously drunk and eat some fine foodstuffs. All good.

Therefore, it seems like the perfect time, in this most surreal of times, to wish everyone here, regardless of credo or personal proclivities, an especially wonderful time with whomsoever you find yourselves holed up with, plus a hopefully more profitable new year than many, including myself, have experienced this year

Our Christmas is totally non-religious and we keep a budget cap on present buying. We do splurge on food and booze, and its just a great excuse to take 10 days off and spend quality time with the missus and the little one. Also a nice time to squeeze some non work learning in, and Ive challenged myself to grasp the basics of Quixel Mixer by Jan 4th (When Im back at the rendering grind stone.) Its a shame we wont be seeing anyone over xmas as tier 4 lockdown in London is pretty strict....also one of the friends we were going to see literally got a positive covid test this week, so probably for the best we are hunkering down for the holiday.
