Thats EXACTLY what my brother and i joked about after the fim. I said that Vader should have shouted "KHAAAAAAAAN!!!"

I bet they did that one set as a joke. That is of course if George unhooked his actors from the matrix long enough to allow some form of human emotion to creep back into their minds....

i liked it to a degree. I've seen the first 3 in the movies when i was a kid an then 1000 of times on video and such now starting to see them with my kids. i didnt like ep 1/2 as a whole but there where some elements that where brilliant, the pod race and overall the sound design where fab.
I've been wondering how they would manage to get the visual apperance to sort of fit with the ep 4/5/6 as i thought it was far from the 'real' thing but the end scenes managed to make the shift somewhat.
I got a little bored with the visual efx 3/4 through the movie and actually was about to take a nap. but other than that i thought it was good. A LOT better than ep 1/2.

But what episode is your favourite then. i still think ep 4 is the best.

well. lets look into this accusation that alot of people didnt see how anakin went over to the dark side so easily. as a child he harboured alot of anger (his mother and he were slaves for goodness sake) this was even brought up in the council meeting that he had too much anger. he was also too old. the kids are usually brought in earlier and are trained from earlier to keep check on their emotions (guess you could say it was kinda like brain washing) so already we see a chink in his mental stability. he is always told about how powerfull he is and will be yet there is lots the jedi wont/cant teach him since these things border on the dark side. so he feels like he is being kept back a bit. and to make things worst he wanted to go check on his mother yet the jedi kept him from doing it. and for that she died. i can see loooooots of resentment to the jedi there. the only one who actually showed interest in ani was the chancerlor. now then...he gets a dream about his love dying...same kinda dream like his mother. now who will he trust more. the people who tell him to repress his feelings and forget these premonitions or the dude who says he will help out. seems to be there is every indication for ihm to turn to the dark side

good effects, possibly some of the worst acting i have ever witnessed, plus an embarrishing last scene with darth vader walking like frakenstein and shouting noooo. summed the whole thing up really.

plus they put all the sfx really close to screen, after a couple of minutes of lightsaber swishing I was getting pretty dizzy.

and whats with having to put in love scenes? sheesh, this is starwars, not some romantic nonsense.
give me the originals any day, good casting, good acting, well paced the list goes on.....

i was thinking...You know lucas is so obsessed with sw, and he keeps making them and talking about that...I think its all he thinks about. Well he's already 60 yeas old. When he is going to be 80 he will go nuts and think he is a jedi and there is darth vader to be defeated.
