  • Photogrammetry app suggestions for mouldings

I have to build the Royal Albert Hall in London and am thinking that photogrammetry would be a great way to capture the very
complex decorative stonework panels and other decoration.
Does anyone have experience with a specifically similar thing and can point to any good software?

why on earth would you want to build it when the data already exists?

Hehe, yeah they certainly exist but sadly are more than a bit crap. They are mostly wrong in terms of detail
and construction on examination, so not even any good as a starting point - I did look at one as a test.
The model will need to be vetted by the RAH itself and so they will expect a far higher quality.
It's the interior also, for a semi-realtime pipeline in Unreal, so whilst it doesn't need to be utterly faithful it will need to
be view close up in fly-throughs. Bit of a monster really, but it'll look cool in the end.

Normal maps derived from photos is actually looking pretty good, so hopefully my colleague in this venture will be able to go take
enough to suffice without the need to use photogrammetry.
