Yes, it could be considered insensitive. Your screenshot was 1/3 of the newsletter, and your post was not called for; however, my Ignorance is a lousy excuse, but I need to stop getting my news from my Facebook family who live down south. We tend to banter back and forth about our weather extremes. When we get above 70 degrees in the Summer, we start complaining, and they start mocking us. I just saw some "real" news about a little boy's death due to the house heat being off. Again, I was clueless about the severity of the storms.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all experiencing any hardships with Winter 2021 and Covid-19. Talk about a double whammy.

You have to add to your contracts a small note saying two zoom meetings included and $50 per zoom call after that.

In all seriousness, I agree. Zoom fatigue has become a real thing. Last year I looked long and hard for a lawyer to help me re-craft my contracts, but I couldn't find anyone interested. It seems like if they are not making $10,000, they are not interested. I think I might try again if things ever slow down and include something like that in my contract.

I don't have anything like that in my contracts, but I say what I have in mind... If they want zoom meetings too often I say "no..because it is not efficient. Let me work on your project and when I have something to show you I will contact you."
My business is design, no renderings...so I do need more time in between meetings.

I don't mind any meeting that makes sense, but I am finding that most of mine don't, and it is a pattern. I had one client who wanted me to call him (ZOOM) every morning to discuss my plans for the day. I think this was when my tolerance for ZOOM started to wobble. I used ZOOM before ZOOM became cool, so I am assuming it has become merely a novelty that will soon wear off.

Maybe you need to setup an hourly rate to this client for those zoom meetings... Once they have to pay they don't have those desires to talk to you... Weird, isn't it?

I do that with revisions (punch list) After two, I charge per hour (or threaten to). You would be amazed at how those changes are no longer important when there is a price associated with them. I was told to double that hourly rate, too, which is a big deterrent.

I am dealing with one now, literally today. They keep making comments, that didn't exist in previous iterations, and some of these comments are bazaar. Things like, "the lampshade is lighter on one side than the other" (full light, highlight, and half-light), but how do you explain this to someone?
