  • Geometryy Store

    Hi everyone!
I recently launched the first Railclone store out there: www.geometryy.store
It specializes in selling high-quality Railclone templates.
With our first release of 6 packs, we covered most needs of exterior models and urban design. Packs include not only models but ready-to-use PBR materials and a lot of customization option within almost every template.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions - I will be happy to answer any!
    Regards.
    Available for remote work.

Please, let me know your impressions and experience with the packs!
    Thanks!

Great assets; especially the windows. I have something similar, but just for curtains: my setup takes into account whether windows belong to the same apartment/room and puts the same window dressing there and it randomizes materials from all materials in a specific library. Can your setup do this too? Then I can go straight to the shop

Finally someone doing this; one can go really crazy with RailClone, like doing a complete road setup with bands, signing, lanterns, parkings, using segment ID's, but I always wondered why nobody sells these kind of things. Hopefully this works out for you!

Thanks a lot for the feedback and I'm glad you like them!
About the curtains setup. My setup is not doing that just because my target was to keep it as universal and adaptable as possible. It's actually a good idea to randomize the material of curtains - I haven't thought about that I think I may add that in the near future, thanks for the idea! But there's a lot of other randomization options, you can check them out here in the PDF: https://geometryy.store/geometryy_windows.pdf or just by downloading demo pack

I am a long time user of Railclone by myself and I was wondering the same - where are commercial libraries? So I've done them, putting all my knowledge and experience into them. Thanks for the kind words - it is really hard to market a new product nowadays, but we are doing our best!

Having the same window dressing in the same room and/or apartment is important to me, since these are clients wishes. It's actually very easy to setup by using segment id's. You connect all the splinesegments of windows inside a room or apartment and give the connections a different ID, so these segment do not contain curtains. The connections can function as indicators that the segments belong to the same room. I think that you even could program the assignment of ID's automatically if connections exist at all. Then everything is automatically generated in the right way.

But my template can do exactly that except randomizing the material and changing the dressing by spline ID.
The curtain type itself is being chosen from the library, after that, you can set - do you want for tule to be there or not, do you want curtains to be closed - from what side, the percentage of closing for each side, remove drapery from one of the sides, or completely randomize all of these parameters.
The curtain type now can be set by creating a separate spline and separate RailClone object, it is convenient because you have control over each of the RailClone separately. But randomizing by the spline ID is a good option to have - that's true

Well got myself a few collections They are well documented inside the node editor, so I can probably make the adjustments I need very fast; just need to paste some of my nodes inbetween to scatter all sorts of curtains on one spline for a whole building. Looking forward to new collections
