  • remove or hide internal faces from imported geometry

I imported a .fbx file that is a house model. It was exported as .fbx from revit. All the geometry displays all the extra internal face edges. very distracting and cluttered. Maybe I'm imagining this but I seem to recall some technique for making those edges hidden so they don't display in the wireframe view. does anyone know how or if this is done? Screen grab of one wall attached shows what I mean. all the geometry has those extra face edges displayed. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can achieve that by converting the geometry to editable mesh > select all edges > in the "Surface Properties" click the "Auto Edge" button. I hope this helps.
