juju, well, this isnt the only thing that has been developed by a university or such. There are many examples of real time clouds, real time displacement, tearing surfaces cloth and water. But yet any of those are to show up in our world...
Realtime rendering, will be the future as pc's and graphics cards become more and more powerfull ... we can now achieve realism but at a cost of time... that bridge will become shorter, so in affect we will be modelling in a fully blown Gi enviroment ..... ONE DAY
