Destruction - Vanilla Max 2022 - Possible to fracture and destruct?

Hi All

Without using 3rd party plugins like Rayfire or Tyflow, can vanilla Max 2022 destruct objects?
We want to fracture a Revit building and turn it into rubble...

I guess the simple answer is no, or rather, not without a tremendous amount of work that said plugins were designed to circumvent

You reminded me of the time I actually did try to do this manually...aeons ago and it was just painful lol....manually cutting the mesh into bits, recreating inside faces...I don't
recall whether I managed it but would guess I gave up
