Wow! That is impressive. However, I think Vray can do everything in that video so it is just up to us artists to use the tools!

    Cheers!

did you notice how many stills (yes i know real good stills)

        are in this teaser ?

because for real complex animations it would render forever maybe ?

I especially liked the Saturday afternoon infomercial soundtrack. Nice. Now they just need Tony Little doing the voiceover.

Good one PixelJockey! HA! Tony Little takes to long to render in Maxwell though!

the interlacing sent shivers up my spine in a bad way. basically if you have a video for people to download WHY INTERLACE IT...sheesh, interlacing is a tv thing not a computer thing.

some nice images in there I would jump on the band wagon as well if it rendered faster. It's not very expensive

hm.... what were you expecting, quality sketches? It's 3d rendering, and I think you would be hard pressed to say the quality was not good (aside from the grain on the animations). Come on guys, it's just a piece of software, everyone seems to get so territorial about this stuff. It's just another tool, and who know maybe a few years down the road it will be faster. And thats great, competition is always good for everyone. But I know which renderer I use, VRay is the best for me Lets Leave the childish attitudes for the Maxwell folks, they seemed to have started all this.

as far as i can see when it comes to price vray still gives more in way of its liscence than maxwell does. even if you buy beta.
