I never understand those ppl who wanted and still want to replace the superduper lightwave renderer (which is IMHO really the most realistic renderer on market).... but some ppl need more speed and since some time the lw ppl have a renderer which seems to use similar vray rendertechnologies with similar speed.

Some guys in poland developed this renderer which is fully integrated in lightwave and seems to work pretty good with lw

The release number is 1.5!

kray has been out for lightwave for some time now. As for how close it is to V-Ray, I can't really say since I haven't worked with it... We don't have any immediate plans to port V-Ray for Lightwave at this time.

It would be a bad idea, because lightwave comes now together with vue5 infinity for 800usd, so vray would be very expensive if it's an addon.

btw, I would like to see lightwave renderer for max .. but this is truly the wrong forum for this wish.
