I need to create normal maps or height maps from single photographs of Egyptian reliefs, like the attached. Is anyone aware of a process -probably using AI- that can do this?
Over the years I have tried many times to do it with Substance Sampler and other similar tools, but they only get about 50-60% there. They always misinterpret stone grain and other brightness anomalies as height info, so I always end up painting my own height maps.
Thanks.
