    is it just me or were the p3 450 chips really stable (no prower but it sure was stable) my internet computer is a single p3 450 with 256mb ram. i think i originally paid about 2k for it from micron. still runs nicely to this day. as for stability. i remember i left a render going for 2 weeks for a 6 second animated scene with tonnes of raytracing. i used raygun plugin back then for raytracing. didnt crash once for the 2 weeks straight.

        Your scenese were probably nowhere near as complex memory hogs as they are now either
