  • My last Scanline Render ever!

    My girlfriend finally made me clean out the upstairs of our apartment
    and i came across some old image cds that i thought i'd lost...popped one
    in and started chuckling at some of my old work. I stopped at this image
    and it hit me....*this is THE last pure scanline render i ever did!*

    it's dated 09/29/2002 geez...time flies

    ok, now vray

    08/31/05

    So, anyone out there, post your *Last* scanline image here!

          This was the last scanline rendering I did. It was for some previz work for a movie pitch:




          Man, rendering that animation at film2k with only 1 machine (a dual Pentium 3 400MHz) was a pain, especially with all the raytracing. The machine was basically locked up for 2.5 months solid! And then came the compositing!

                  scanline seems like something you dont talk about in decent company. nor infont of children. hehe. although i do still use it once in a blue moon.

                        I believe this was probably my last scanline render. At least the last one I saved.
