staging software for use on touch monitors

hello, lets say i have a train yard and in that yard i have multiple tracks that are layed out in a static grouping. another example would be like aircraft and an airport terminal. i want to be able to take a land-area with fixed things like tracks & roads & buildings, or airport terminals and hangers, and stage 3d models of train engines or airplanes or even utility vehicles. i'd like to be able to have this 3d model of sorts on a touch-screen TV that is layed flat like a table, then touch my airplanes and move them around. or, touch and move train cars. etc...

is there any software like that? it'd have to be able to import 3d models (the airplanes or train cars, utility vehicles etc).

thanks. yep thats where my mind ended up, a game engine. as long as we can get the touch part working.

It should be doable. Thousands of games are developed for phones/tablets, so the tech is surely there already
Anyway it'll be interesting to see the end result as it's a good idea.
