  • Photoshop Smudge Tool

i saw this in a magazine the other day, i think it might have been computer arts or similar - a tutorial on the smudge brush in photoshop. it looked pretty cool so i gave it a go.

cheers jow, oil paints were the idea. it took only about an hour to work over an old rendering, probably longer if it was for an actual client.

Isnt there filters already that do basically that anyway?

not with the same amount of control. with the smudge tool it's fairly much doing it by hand, just like real painting. but if you know a filter that does let me know!

i dont think this kind of quality is possible with a filter.

You could use a 3D NPR Renderer like from Reyes but it would take long to setup the scene.
            Reflect, repent and reboot.
            Order shall return.
