Max/Vray on a laptop for day...

So a client wants a face to face for some reason, not realising the logistics of meeting in a booked room for an hour or so, with no idea what they want to discuss, given that I've proposed every conceivable thing for the project.

Ah well, I have to go, so need to switch use of Max/Vray to a borrowed laptop for a few hours only.

I've never done this, so is it a case of installing both on said machine and Max will auto-recognise me on sign-in, given that I'm not using the desktop instance?
Same with Vray - how simple is it, or is it a complete hassle getting the license changed/changed back?

I had this happen for the first time several months ago, from never meeting a client in person for a decade to one wanting to meet and work in person. Another client wants to zoom in and watch while I work. People are losing it! In the first scenario, I remote-controlled from my laptop, and in the second, which is insane, she asked me to nudge things by inches.

I honestly can't fathom why he wants to do it, as it feels like a waste of money hiring a meeting room and traveling, only to repeat the same things.
However, he is the boss of a big company so has money to burn and his own reasons I guess

My guy rented out rooms for our first three meetings and bought me lunch each time. Sometimes, money isn't an issue. He also paid for my travel.
