  • Backburner as service

What is the preferred method of running server.exe on slaves? Currently I simply have it in my startup folder on each machine. I have heard many references to running it as a service.

#1 - What are the benefits to running as a service?

    #2 - How do I do it?

    Thanks!

main benefit is that it will run and render even if noone is logged into the machine..

go to your backburner directory and type serversvc -install (and serversvc -remove to well, you know..)
