    Hi!

If you think dreamscape is slow, try realflow!!! That´s really SLOWWWW
FLuid simulations are quite an issue right now...

However I used to follow a company called Scanline (funny name) which actually uses Vray for their ocean simulations...

You can see an old link in this page:

    http://www.chaosgroup.com/news/20040604-01.html

Animations look extremely cooool, oceans with implicit surfaces are definitely a way to explore...

You can see a video here:

    PS:
    * Rendering time is approixamately 4 minutes per frame.

a: realwave has all of that and you can preview it in near realtime. its quite cool. if your not interested in purchasing another app then look in the tutorials for pflow. there is just such a case in there.

Yeah i dont imagine it would be too hard to do, just time consuming. I reckon you should have a look at the many generic. ball hitting water tuts, and modifiy that so you get your waves and the splashes from the hull. There is all a tut on the realflow site ( i think) about create a wake behind a boat.

        Good luck
